The autumn half term at the end of October is a great time for beginner surfers to get away in the UK when it's not too crowded. With the water temperature in Croyde, Devon around 15°C it can often feel warmer in the sea than out and isn't much colder than the peak temperatures in August. Campsites in the UK and France
We've not visited enough campsites - we can only boast around 40 campsites we've stayed at over the years and we want that number to at least double.
